55-70mm Lens. Aug 11 2007 i am just starting to build my lens collection with the 30d. I want a third lens but don t know whether to get a tamron 55 200mm or 70 300mm lens.
Wide apertures also give more depth of field making your subject stand out dramatically from the background. When you zoom your lens in you re zooming between 18mm and 55mm. Numbers and letters on lenses what does 18 55mm mean.
Both look good although the 70 300 seems to have higher image quality but i am wondering if my gap in the range from 55mm to 70mm would be an issue.
