I saw a guy on here who had the brilliant idea of attaching angle irons to the bottom of the karlby countertop to prevent sag instead of using support legs.
In a nutshell i bought a 8 foot long counter top from ikea.
But i ve been waiting 2 months to get my hands on an ikea karlby. I got the shorter 74 version which is still very long for a desk because it s meant to be a countertop but they also make a crazy long 98 version. My last desk was super unstable and felt like it was going to come apart at any moment.
